Congratulations!
You’re about to take what will hopefully be one of the most
romantic trips of your life! Don’t let the romance sweep you
away
so much that you forget the important things, though. Here are some
honeymoon
tips to
keep your feet on the ground while your head is in the clouds.
Money-
Don’t carry a lot of cash with you! Wherever your honeymoon
takes
you, cash is easy to lose. Stick to your debit card or
traveler’s
checks, or a combination of the two. If you carry traveler’s
checks, be sure to leave the part with your checks’ numbers
on
them at home with a relative or in your hotel safe.
Packing-
Don’t over pack. Of course, you need to make sure you have
enough
of the appropriate kinds of clothing for the climate you’re
visiting. However, there’s no need to take two full suitcases
for
each of your for a week-long trip…if you have less to keep
track
of, you’ll have less to stress over.
Activities-
Be sure to strike a balance between scheduled activities and down time
on your honeymoon. Although you’ll definitely want to take
advantage of your wonderful destination, whether it’s
amusement
parks, ancient castles, slopes of fresh powder, or horseback riding on
the beach, keep in mind that this is supposed to be a romantic time for
you to focus on your new spouse. Keep some time open for gazing
lovingly into each other’s eyes!
And the last of our honeymoon tips for
you…
Photos-
Take lots of photographs! Even if you’re not a great
photographer, in a year, or five, or twenty, the two of you will love
having an album to reminisce over.
Take our
simple honeymoon tips to heart, and you should have a trip that you
never forget. Most of all prepare to enjoy a wonderful new life
together!
